NEW HTML FORM USAGE INSTRUCTIONSChrome, Edge, & FireFox are the preferred browsers for using our new forms. Internet Explorer is not compatible. Please make sure you are using the latest version for these browsers enhanced compatibility. We recommend that you create a folder on your desktop to save your completed forms. You may download these browsers by clicking on their links provided. CHROME EDGEFIREFOX After completing the form, you will have the choice of saving the form to your computer for emailing to our office at a later point. If you have email on your computer like Outlook or some other email program, you can save the form and automatically, launch your email program, attach the form and email to our office right away. To make this procedure more user friendly, follow these instructions to change your options for saving your form to a selected location on your computer. This merely changes how your browsers will execute when you download a file. It is a one-time change.CHANGE CHROME OPTIONS By default, Chrome downloads files to the “Downloads” folder in your user account. If you would rather save them to a different location, you can easily change the Chrome download folder location. Click the Chrome menu button (three horizontal bars) in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window and select “Settings” from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the bottom of the “Settings” screen and click the “Show advanced settings” link. Select the “Ask where to save each file before downloading” check box so there is a check mark in the box.To change the download folder location, click “Change” to the right of the “Download location” edit box. On the “Browse For Folder” dialog box, navigate to the folder where you want to save folders by default and click “OK”. The path to the selected folder displays in the “Download location” edit box. This location displays in the “Save As” as the default location, if you’ve selected the “Ask where to save each file before downloading” check box. Click the “X” button on the “Settings” tab to close it.CHANGE EDGE OPTIONS Edge is configured to download files to the user's “Download “folder by default. If you would rather save them to a different location, you can easily change the Edge download folder location. Click on the main menu icon (three dots) in Microsoft Edge's interface, and select the settings option from the context menu that opens. Scroll down until you find the advanced settings section. Click on the view advanced settings button. Locate downloads on the next page. Edge lists the current location that downloaded files are saved in (the full path). Click on change, and select a new folder on the local computer to change the location.CHANGE FIREFOX OPTIONS FireFox is configured to download files to the user's “Download “folder by default. If you would rather save them to a different location, you can easily change the FireFox download folder location. Open Firefox, and find a "Tools" option on the tool bar. Click on it to get a pull-down menu, then click on Options. Click on "General" tab. Find the "Downloads" section, where you have 2 options to manipulate the location of the saved filed. ...
